Red Shawl is a 1899 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.
No information is available concerning this painting but it was later made into a postcard for a series of lovely lady paintings done by Stember. Some of the series was made to sell for a Charity organization:The Society of Beggars.
Independently confirmed in 2026 research by an original postcard held by the family, printed with the title “V. Stember. The red shawl,” matching two earlier online mentions of the same title.
