Portrait of a Girl, Possibly Nadia is a 1909 portrait by the Russian artist Victor Stember.

Found online via a Litfund auction listing captioned as a portrait of the artist’s daughter Nadia, dated 1909.

Research note (2026-09): the family reviewed this image directly and identified a signature that does not match catalog art-98, the record this was originally found grouped with. It is clearly a Stember work by subject and signature style, but needs a closer look: comparing the signature and any visible dimensions against the original Litfund lot listing directly, and checking it against every other similarly titled “Nadia” or portrait-of-a-daughter work in the catalog, before this attribution is treated as final. See research/images-catalog.md.
